What we collect, and what we don't.

Free plan. Your OpenAI and Anthropic admin keys are stored inchrome.storage.localon your device. They are used only to call the official usage endpoints from your own browser. Nothing is transmitted to Capped's servers.

Pro plan. Today, Pro stores your Stripe customer identifier and subscription state so this browser can verify paid access. We do not store provider admin keys on our servers in the current release, and we do not read, store, or transmit prompts, completions, or other LLM payloads.

Analytics. The marketing site uses Plausible for privacy-friendly, aggregate page analytics and selected site events such as CTA clicks, calculator interactions, package links, and checkout starts. Plausible is used without cookies and does not collect prompts, completions, provider keys, or extension usage data.

Payments. Handled by Stripe. We receive only what Stripe passes back: your customer identifier, plan, and subscription state.

Deletion. Ask us at hello@getcapped.app and we'll delete server-side account and Stripe-related records we control within 72 hours. Local extension data, including provider keys and cached cost totals, stays on your device and can be removed by clearing the extension's storage or uninstalling Capped.
